The main tools and accessories required for the growing of the Bonsai trees are, mostly, the same as those for the usual gardening. Of course, there are some tools and accessories that are different (a Bonsai tree needs a bowl or a tray, as an example), but you will still need cutters, wires and more.
So, for a quick review, choose to look around for the most useful tray, tables or anything else you might need.
In order to prolongue the use of the tools, you need to keep them clean. Resin, soil, plant ends, all must be carefully cleaned from any tools, especially from the cutters. The solidified resin needs to be removed and the cutting edges should be cleaned with special oils (someone suggested using oil for a sewing machine). If the cutters and pliers are not to be used for a long time, they must be oiled and then kept in a clean and dry woolen cloth in a dry storing place. From time to time, all the cutting tools must be sharpened with a grinder stone.
For those that work a lot outside, a good option is stainless tools. They are more expensive, but they are a lot more lasting.
The soil you use for Bonsai trees and the fertilizers must be stored in a dry place or else they might become useless.
Bonsai trays and bowls must be turned around from time to time if they are kept outside.
These are some hints on how to keep your tools. Anyway, as in everything, you must first get them and then take care of them. Every journey starts with the first step. Growing Bonsai trees starts with buying the tools you need.
