If you have Bonsai trees planted in 3×3inches/10×10cm pots, you should give them, once in 2 weeks, one teaspoonful of organic fertilizers (dust). For those trees in bigger pots (7×10inches/20×30cm), you should use 6 teaspoonfuls, every 2 weeks.
When feeding bigger trees (medium and big), you should bury the fertilizers in the soil. You make some holes with a pencil and fill them with fertilizer. When the next nourishing moment comes, you should make new holes, in order to cover the entire soil surface and to feed the entire root. The same actions should be taken when dealing with fertilizer boulders. They must be put every other spot every other week, in order to cover the entire soil surface.
Avoid excessive feeding, by providing sustenance regularly, when the time comes.
If you have more plants, you should use liquid fertilizers, to avoid excessive feeding. From time to time, only if necessary, you should use solid fertilizers (dust or boulders).
